What is the purpose of baptism?
Baptism is an outward sign of an inward change. It symbolizes the believer’s identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is an act of obedience to Christ’s command and signifies the believer’s commitment to live a new life in Him.

I've already been baptized. Do I need to be baptized again?
Your baptism should have marked the beginning of your journey as a follower of Jesus, signifying a transformed life and your connection to a new spiritual family. If your baptism didn’t represent this life change, then you should be baptized again.
Do I need to be baptized to be saved?
While baptism is an important step in the Christian faith, salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Baptism is an act of obedience and an expression of that faith, but it is not the means by which salvation is received.

What is the significance of baptizing by immersion?
Baptism by immersion represents the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Going under the water symbolizes being buried with Christ, and coming out of the water represents being raised to a new life in Him.
